1967 - 1968 Firebird Classic Update Wiring Kit

The Classic Update Kit is a complete wiring system that allows for the addition of modern conveniences in yesterday's vehicles - without compromising wiring appearance or integrity. There are no other kits on the market that compare to the depth of features and ease of installation that the Classic Update Kit offers. All Classic Update Kits were built around, and in conjunction with, other industry leaders to so our kits accept the connections of many top name aftermarket manufacturer's products such as, Autometer, Classic Instruments, Dakota Digital, Flaming River, Hot Rod Air, Ididit, Pacific Western's "Rain Gear", Stewart Warner, Vintage Air, and VDO.  Classic Update Kits are engineered specifically for the exact requirements of the vehicle. We currently have eight (8) Classic Update Kits for you to choose from.

The all-new 67-68 Firebird kit encompases all of the components that one would expect to find in a kit as complete as ours! We've thought of everything - and included it all in one easy-to-install wiring kit engineered specifically for you.

Replacement headlight switch with internal 30 amp circuit breaker.
Retention collar nut, adjustable length shaft and custom knob also included.
Standard turn signal flasher, hazard flasher and horn relay mounted on fuse panel.
Fuse box designed to fit in original location.
All required hardware supplied. New ATO fuse allow easy fuse and circuit breaker accessibility.
The harness is laid out and formed to allow almost any aftermarket accessories such as gauge packages, heat and a/c systems. Original switch connector bodies.
Steering column connectors will plug directly into most aftermarket columns as well as 69 and later GM columns utilizing GM stock switches.
Original dash panel instrument cluster connect.
Along with the wiring for your original dome lighting, we also incluced some under dash sockets.
The instrument cluster wiring is a “cluster disconnect system” for easy service and assembly. All the original terminals, connectors (exclusive to AAW) and light sockets are also supplied. (Autometer, Classic instruments, Covan classics, Dakota Digital, Stewart Warner and VTO)
Rear body harness assemlbly is designed to plug into the main harness. Flexibility in the design of the harness allows for custom/creative routing. Rear body wiring includes the backup light wires & mating connectors for backup light leads. License Plate lead, connectors and terminals. Fuel tank sender wire and terminal included. 
A new floor dimmer switch is provided. Wire length and connection to accommodate floor mount dimmer switch.
Original bulkhead connector for the engine and front light wiring included.
Engine wiring includes connectors for HEI distributors as well as points. Power & tach connectors supplied for HEI distributors. Alternator connectors are supplied for GM SI series internally regulated alternators.
The GM CS series alternator adapter is available separately.
Front lighting includes extra long leads for special routing. All headlight, park light, ad directional light connectors and Terminals are provided as well as a switched trigger wire for electric fan.
New Ignition switch in included with indexed connector. Additionally, the system comes with column mounted ignition swicth Connectors for adapting late model columns (1967-1968 Models)
